on the sunday before mardi gras, we marched with les enfants du nod. we were pirates.
my "rise up! new orleans" shirt was a key part of my costume.
we mingled, and toasted...
and then stepped off!
but once fatigue set in...
we said our goodbyes and headed for the ferry...
and home to bed!
